Its October and everyone knows what that means, the anniversary of the day the bombs fell.
For some time now Bethesda has been teasing a Bombs Drop event for Fallout 76. Many have tried and no one found any hint of what it could be. Many were hoping that it would be a suitable replacement for last years Mischief Night event, but today those hopes were shattered.
Today's Inside the Vault article which you can find here: Fallout 76: Inside the Vault – Upcoming Events, PTS Update & More (bethesda.net), revealed the "Event" and while the bomb dropped, it sure felt like a dud. The event is just more of the same, just all at once. It includes double XP, double SCORE dailies and a discount at the purveyor. For many this is lack luster. Most avid players have already achieved Rank 100 in the current season, or are extremely close. A discount at the purveyor after the Mole Miner event this week will be lack luster. The only piece that is enticing is the double XP for those chasing down levels for more Perk Coins.
After the fun shenanigans of last years Mischief Night, even with all the bugs, this leaves me feeling let down. Lets hope Bethesda still has a Trick or two up its sleeve. Until then, make the most of the bonus XP and good hunting.
Here are the full run times for the "Event"
